tiggy and the magic paintbrush

Tiggy and the Magic Paintbrush arrives!

It was mid week, mid summer holidays, when I came home to find advance copies of the first two TIGGY books in my letterbox. Yay!

My kids skipped around the front garden in excitement. I did too. We have gotten to know Tiggy and her antics over three years. She began as Wynn, and started off with a 3D printing machine. Over the months, and under the guidance of my wonderful editors Melissa Keil and Niki Horin, Tiggy has emerged and blossomed. And we adore her.

These books are little. Perfect for a first reader, or for a sibling looking over the shoulder. And the titles are shiny and holographic! It was so nice holding them. And I adore Gillian Flint’s illustrations even more in real life. How lucky I am so be paired with such a talented lady!

Did I mention Tiggy’s hair is pink?!

The first two books in this series for 4-7 year-olds will be available from The Five Mile Press / Bonnier this March.

They look wonderful. Love the covers, even without being able to see the hologram!
